2020 Hemsedal

Hemsedal Day 3 – sun troubles

Interesting twist of events (unstable ice, despite – 15c in the morning ) got us to bail off the top pitch of Indre Haugfoss (wi4+). We safely relocated then to nearby Rjukande gorge, where @paulcollinsclimbing lead amazing Gummioksa (wi5, pictured). Since it was still early we moved then to Golsjuvet crag (where we were on day1) and ran few more laps on the single pitch routes there. Overall very good day! #climbing

Hemsedal Day 2 – car troubles

Unlucky day 2. Del and Lar’s Kia hybrid car broke down, grounding them for the day. It turns out thst electric cars and very low temperatures (it was around -15c last night) don’t mix well. It shortened our day a bit as we wanted to help out (it turned out we couldn’t and tow was required – they got a replacement car since). Paul and I ended climbing short (2pitches) but fun route in Hemsedal called Torsetfossen (WI4).
